Terrain:
Ollerton Pit Wood is a reclaimed colliery site. Central and southern parts are a mix of fast maturing woods and rough grassland. In the northern part there are steep hillsides under mature trees. There are areas of dense undergrowth in the western part but courses have been planned to avoid these.
